FSU sports information:

The No. 23 Florida State women’s basketball team (19-5, 9-3 ACC) will honor Sue Semrau, the winningest coach in program history during Thursday’s game against Louisville at 6 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

Single game tickets for Thursday will be sold at a special price at Seminoles.com for $4.70.

Semrau took over at the helm for the 1997-98 season. She boasted a record of 470-271, while guiding the Seminoles to 16 NCAA Tournament appearances, five Sweet 16s and three Elite Eights. FSU also won two ACC co-regular season titles. She was named the Associated Press, WBCA and ESPNW National Coach of the Year in 2015.

After announcing her retirement on March 21, 2022, Semrau was inducted into the FSU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2023.

Semrau will be honored at halftime against the Cardinals.

Another slow start. Down 10 points early. Louisville applying pressure on defense and we are not handling it well

Horrible first quarter. Anyway we can get Sue to coach the rest of the game? Not sure what Wyckoff is doing out there today with these lineups.

0-10 from 3 and only one assist in the 1st half so far. Timpson picked up two quick fouls hasn’t helped either.

Latson is 2-18 in her last 3 point attempts. She’s gotta find her shot for us to win games against decent teams.
