FSU sports information:

The No. 25 Florida State men’s tennis team will make its first conference road trip across the nation to face new ACC members California and No. 9 Stanford.

FSU will face California at 7 p.m. ET on Friday before moving south of San Francisco to meet Stanford at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday.

The Seminoles have won the last two meetings against California with a 4-3 win in Orlando in 2019 before their 5-2 win in Honolulu two seasons ago. FSU delivered a commanding 7-0 sweep on the road in the only meeting with Stanford in 2007.

Florida State has enjoyed a good run of form with two victories in ACC play over Boston College and SMU following the program's first top-10 road victory in over a decade against Texas A&M. Corey Craig has claimed three consecutive Court 1 wins in straight-set fashion during that span. The junior transfer has clinched each of the last three team victories and won 24 of 31 games in his ACC weekend debut to complete a dominant start to conference play.

Alex Bulte and Youcef Rihane performed at an outstanding level, winning both doubles matches last weekend in 6-1 and 6-2 fashion. The duo notched its 15th victory of the season and have yet to concede three games in a winning match in 2025. The Court 2 and 3 pairings earned their first conference wins of the season.

Jamie Connel won the final singles match in the 7-0 sweep over Boston College before completing his first win over a ranked school on Court 2 on Sunday. Joshua Dous-Karpenschif was in full control over the weekend, winning 24 of 33 games on Courts 3 and 5. Connel and Dous-Karpenschif lead the team with eight singles wins each this spring.

The newest ITA rankings were released Tuesday. Florida State climbed further in the team rankings at No. 25 while Craig reclaimed his spot at No. 19 in the singles poll. Connel retained his top-50 ranking at No. 46. All-Americans Rihane and Bulte achieved the program’s highest doubles ranking at No. 3 and now stand as the highest ranked pairing in the conference. Connel and Craig were slotted at No. 66.
