Four-star defensive end Chase Linton spoke with Rivals National Analyst Sam Spiegleman earlier today about his recruitment and Florida State seems to no longer be in contention. Linton released a top three of Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Rutgers.
We reported that Linton had set an official visit to Florida State. I now believe this visit to have been cancelled.
Florida State has recently restocked the board at defensive end so there if this is a case of FSU moving on rather than Linton dropping FSU, they may feel better about a different prospect given the sudden change.
