The Florida State soccer team sealed its first transfer signing of the offseason in redshirt senior Erin Flurey.
The former Syracuse forward started in 49 total games for the Orange, including 37 consecutive starts dating back to her freshman season. She scored 35 total points with 15 goals and five assists, leading Syracuse in points scored in 2023 and 2024 and second on the team in 2022. Flurey scored seven goals in the ACC and became the only Syracuse player with multiple conference goals in back-to-back seasons since 2019.
The Manchester, N.H., native has been strong on and off the field, claiming the Syracuse Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for six consecutive semesters dating back to Fall 2021. She also earned ACC Academic Honor Roll honors in 2021-22 and 2022-23 with a spot on the 2022 All-ACC Academic Team. This past season, she was named to the 2024 Academic All-America and All-District Women's Soccer Team.
Flurey helped Manchester Central High School win back-to-back state championships in 2017 and 2018, earning First Team All-State honors in both seasons as an underclassman. She broke the Central High School single-season goal record with 27 goals and captained her school her senior season. Flurey was president of the National Honor Society and a National English Honor Society member.
Flurey’s parents both played collegiate sports as her mother, Nicole, played soccer at Keene State and her father, David, played baseball and ice hockey at New Hampshire College.
