Folks like to whine and complain about our non-conference schedule, but the fact are quite apparent ... FSU is doing a great job it setting up future non-conference schedules.
2016: vs Ole Miss (Orlando), Florida, @ USF, TBD (likely FCS)
2017: vs Alabama (Atlanta), @ Florida, TBD, TBD (likely FCS)
2018: @ Notre Dame, Florida, TBD, TBD (likely FCS)
2019: vs TBD (Jacksonville), @ Florida, Boise State, TBD (likely FCS)
2020: Florida, @ Boise State, TBD, TBD (likely FCS)
2021: Notre Dame, @ Florida, TBD, TBD (likely FCS)
You can easily see that they are putting together schedules where we will have two P5 schools. 2019 would give us two P5 plus Boise State which is generally a top-25 school in most years and is much better than most P5 schools. 2020 is still far out and it could be a year where we have Florida and Boise State and not another P5 school, but we will see how that shakes out.
All in all, FSU will have some very nice schedules over the next six years.
