The No. 18 Florida State Softball team (20-9, 3-2) picked up right where they left off from Saturday's game with another offensive outburst in a 10-0 win over Pitt (8-20, 0-8) in five innings on Sunday afternoon.

Kaley Mudge set the tone right away for the Noles as she hit a leadoff triple to put the Noles in business. Jaysoni Beachum would hit a fly ball deep enough for Mudge to score. Kalei Harding then stepped in to hit her sixth home run of the season. Michaela Edenfield was hit by a pitch then Amaya Ross hit her second home run in as many games to put the Noles up 4-0. Jahni Kerr followed Ross with her third home run of the season to put the Noles up 5-0 after the top of the first.

The Noles got back to work in the second inning as Devyn Flaherty and Mudge hit back-to-back singles, and Beachum was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Harding delivered with a RBI single, and Edenfield scored one more on a sacrifice fly to give the Noles a 7-0 lead after two innings.

In the third inning, Flaherty hit a two-out single, and freshman Kennedy Harp hit her second career home run to left center field to put the Noles up 9-0.

Edenfield hit her team-leading ninth home run of the season to open up the fourth inning to give the Noles 10 runs for the second consecutive game, and the eighth time this season.

Ashtyn Danley shut down the Pitt offense as she retired the first six batters she faced. Danley pitched four innings and allowed just one hit while striking out a career high eight batters. Emma Wilson came on in the fifth and closed the door by retiring the side in order.

The two teams will play the series finale today at 5 p.m. on the ACC Network.
