FSU women's hoops: ACC schedule set

The 2024-25 conference schedule for the Florida State women’s basketball team was released on Tuesday by the ACC.

The Seminoles will host nine ACC teams, starting with SMU on Dec. 8 on ACC Network.

“It’s an exciting day for our program to be able to release our full season schedule for our fans,” FSU coach Brooke Wyckoff said. “We are looking forward to another exciting and challenging ACC slate this year and we’ll be getting it started by welcoming SMU to Tallahassee for their first game as a part of this league. Our student-athletes have been preparing since spring to compete at the highest level in the best women’s basketball conference in the country. We can’t wait to get started!”

The 2025 portion of the season will begin in Blacksburg, Va., on Jan. 2 against Virginia Tech before the Noles return home to host Syracuse on Jan. 5. Both games are set to air on ACC Network.

FSU will travel out west to face Stanford on Jan. 9. The Seminoles have faced the Cardinal five times in program history, including three times in the NCAA Tournament. The teams faced each other last season at the Ball Dawgs Classic, with Stanford taking the 3-2 edge in the series, 100-88.

California will host the Noles on Jan. 12. It will be the second meeting between the squads and first since December of 1992, when the Golden Bears won 69-50.

The Seminoles will return home to host Clemson on Jan. 16 and Miami on Jan. 19, before appearing on the ACC Network for three consecutive games. FSU will first visit North Carolina before traveling north to face Boston College on Jan. 30. Wake Forest will visit Tallahassee on Feb. 2.

FSU will make its second trip to the state of Virginia to play the Cavaliers on Feb. 6 and will return home to play NC State on Feb. 9 and Louisville on Feb. 13. The Seminoles will head south to face Miami in Coral Gables on Feb. 16. Games against NC State and Miami will be featured on the CW.

Florida State will welcome Pittsburgh on Feb. 20 and will travel to face Georgia Tech on Feb. 23 and Notre Dame on Feb. 27 on the ACC Network.

The Seminoles will close out the regular season on March 2 by facing Duke and honoring the senior class. The game will air on the ACC Network.

Game times and network designations are subject to change.

The 2025 Ally ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament will be held in Greensboro, N.C., from March 5-9. The 2025 NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Show will be held on March 16. The Tournament will begin on March 19.

FSU has finalized its 12-player roster for the 2024-25 season, which includes the return of high-scoring trio Ta’Niya Latson, Makayla Timpson and O’Mariah Gordon. The Seminoles are slated to bring back 75 percent of their scoring production from a year ago as well as 82 percent of their rebounds.

The Seminoles will host Tampa on Oct. 23 in an exhibition.
