Certainly not making excuses for our (at times) non-inspired play, but several ref calls today were abysmal:
> (Lack of) Horse Collar call on #8 Kermit (will we EVER get one of those?)
> Alleged Slap to QB's head on DL #4 (hand never touched him)
> Targeting call on LB #5 (eventually reversed)
> Phantom Hold call on OL #59 (good block penalized)
> Hold on CB #27 (run play 20 yards away was stopped behind LOS).
> Hold on OL #77 (less certain here but appeared HE was knocked backwards)
Just a few. Again, not making excuses but it does seem our road games with WF usher in some of the most COLLASAL BS calls EVER relative to any other ACC opponent. (Who can forget the ole "ref sliding the ball forward call" prior to a WF 1st down measurement).
