It will be nice after an agonizing week to settle in Saturday night and watch the team let loose on ULM and gain some confidence. I think we see a jaw-dropping coming out party for Akers and a shut-down defense. Perfect opponent at the right time -- not a total cupcake (fought hard in 37-29 loss to solid Memphis team), but should be an easy win. Get some passing in for Blackman as well.
Miami -- looks scary on paper with a true FR starting his second game, but isn't their QB a freshman too? And they don't have our defense (350 yards and 20 first down allowed to Bethune Cookman).
NC State -- their strength was supposed to be defense and they gave up 35 in a loss to South Carolina. They seem to play poorly in Doak. They will get killed.
Wake Forest -- easy win.
