I just went back and watched Manderinole's videos of Wake and USF games and I've come away with two main things. Well three actually.
Cook is the main cog in our offensive wheel. He makes so many things happen, seemingly out of no where. We already knew this.
Golson has looked average, but through no fault of his own, in my opinion. Our WR are dropping every other ball! Golson has had a few bad throws, maybe 5 so far. Most of his passes are good reads and catchable balls. The WR need to step up, catch, and secure the football.
The third thing I saw is a defense that is solid. Nothing flashy, nothing amazing (except for a few big hits), but straight up solid. They are the right position and are making tackles.
I feel good about Saturday. The atmosphere will be fantastic. The team will be pumped, as will the crowd, and we will stomp the canes!
