Was reading on a (unnamed site) that Ohio State will possible have the best offense in history this year.
I chuckled. Their 2014 squad had 7600+ total yards after 15 games. Our 2013 squad had 7300+ after 14.
Our team had to sit our starters after nearly every first half. Theirs played full games even in their crappy schedule. Also we did not play in a gimmicky spread offense, we played a very balanced pro-style; plus our defense scored a bunch of TD's that year as well. Having such a great defense to couple with our offense actually helped improve our offensive play.
Total yards do not even begin to tell the whole story. As far as the best offenses ever, the USC team with R. Bush, is one of the best I have ever seen--the only one I could take over our 2013 team; and that is a stretch.
So how does this 2015 OSU team really fare against the best Offenses ever? I think it is a complete joke they would even be mentioned in the same breath as, "best ever", in any category.
