Today is the day. Discharge at 11. Have ride set up for 11:30.
I am so ready. And pretty anxious. We have overwhelming support so I know we will be fine but there’s still anxiety.
It’s amazing. 12/3/21 seems like ten years ago and yesterday all at once. I can’t believe how far I’ve come. I truly wasn’t sure I’d make it a month ago. Today I feel better than I am physically.
Still real limited. Still have months til I can walk. Still have lots of work. A lot. But I feel like I’ll be back to relative normalcy by summer. I can’t wait but I’ll take it one day at a time for now.
So many have reached out personally through this. I feel like I’ve made some new friends and hope to keep those going and see folks when they’re in town. That support and the thoughts and prayers offered have really helped me get here. They are all appreciated.
