While never seen it written or heard it I am guessing pre-season team goals go something like:
1. Win Division
2. Win Conference
3. Play in Major Goal
4. Make 4 Team Playoff
5. Win National Championship
Guessing there are other goals mixed in, but guessing this is the main process.
If true, then beating Clemson is the key to it all. Lose to Clemson and every goal, unless Clemson really "Clemsoning" and losses twice, is off the board. Beat Clemson and FSU could actually go 10-2, lose to UF and to Chattanooga, both of which I doubt, and still accomplish the first three goals.
Beat Clemson and all goals still alive. Even with craziness of rankings, if FSU goes undefeated they will make the four team playoff. Other teams, Ohio State and Michigan State, Baylor and TCU, Bama and LSU play each other and unless the media craziness puts a one loss team in front of FSU they are in.
Know you take games "One at a time". So have to beat GaT and Q's, but this season boils down, or should boil down to November 7th in Clemson, SC.
