ive recently been confined to a wheelchair and put on disability. No longer working ive decided to spend my time here with you folk. I haven't post much but a few years back i had epic threads about my ex and a zombie apocalypse thread if anyone remembers. I am excited to rejoin the locker room.

Sorry too hear that. I had an ischemic stroke last summer, and my left side has been extremely weak ever since.

when will als get its own month? If it had the research and funding of breast cancer i might stand a chance. Don't want to sound Like a arse but als is the worst disease anyone could contract and its has no known cause or cure. I was only 28 when diagnosed now 30 i cannot move anything
Women are the majority and thus hold the political power in this country. Unless a bunch of them start getting ALS, unfortunately it's not going to get increased funding/attention.
Welcome Scott, glad to have you back on Warchant. The FSU baseball team played the BC Eagles in an ALS awareness game and fundraiser last Saturday for a former BC baseball player who has ALS. They have it at Fenway every year, which is very cool. See the link below:

if you like religious talk just get yourself a terminal illness, you'll get to hear about everyones prayers and gods plan daily. Yup god loves me very much, my caretaker and my mother just got done changing my diaper at 30 years old. I'm not bitter at all.
