before practice started here is where we were
offense -
really good coaching and coordination - norvell and dilly make up a elite combo .. saban jimbo elite
qb - we should be good - not a concern
RB maybe the best position on the team - not a concern
TE - pass catching blocking and depth not a concern
specially stuff - small back big back bubble screen speed guy H backs - we are good
OL - really started to look decent and flash potential before DLT got hurt .. figure with a good offseason and adding gibbon we should have a decent OL .. if no key injuries. Again not the strength of the team but should be good enough with good QB play we they help us score a lot of points
WR the only question mark on offense and a big one .. we need at least 3 good WR and we hope parch is one. lots of talent for years and nobody any good.. all we have is hope
Defense
honest to GOD ,, DL LB DBs and DC we just do not know .. wait and see our defense was so bad last year
After a week of practice this is where we are

QB TE RB - as we suspected
OL - DLT not playing Gibbon been here 4-5 days .. flipped washington and scott .. and have kids like zane with the ones playing not to good but getting some experience. Probably will not get a feel for the OL until maybe 7-14 days after the DLT is playing full time at his assigned spot. Not sure anyone with knowledge of the team thinks the OL will was starting to look decent will be worse .. they should be fine
WR = helton is playing very very good one slot down and we need two more guys to step up .. Parch seems to be faster and more athletic than they thought can play in the league ,, but flat out just got here and does not know the plays .. TOM BRADY is limited when he does not knwo the plays .. dude need to get serious with the play book and he should be good .. next set of possibilities are Pokey Williamson and McClain .. .. I think we see and3 know a lot more once the OL settles down and MM and Travis are hitting the WR in the hands everyday .. SUMMARY - we most likely get 2 good WR by ND and 3=4 good ones by end of september ..

DL - vastly improved, talent effort and depth .. will know more once DLT is playing and we are in pads for a week
LB - heard nothing yet
Coaching and DC = nothing yet but love the improvements we are seeing - encouraging
DB - seem to be light years improved .. they know where to line up, tight coverage, battling for the ball, talent, speed, tackling - honest to God does not even make sense is this the same guys .. so far so good at DB .. seem to be vastly improved .. again .. lets see how they look once the OL gives the WR and QBs some time .. but improved for sure
