If I’m not mistaken we have the blessing of the Seminole tribe
As long as the Seminoles themselves support us using the name, we are good to go. And they do!
Isn't there a sticky saying not to do this on the TC? As long as the actual Seminole Tribe of Florida still supports us we won't have to change our name.

While we’re at it, I’m sure there’s about 7-10 named storms a year that feel offended about a team in coral gables.
We are seeing the return of the Red Guard from the Cultural Revolution.
It won't happen UNLESS FSU is PROACTIVE and educates the public plus get support from other minority groups along with the Seminole Tribe.
Do you know how many people DIE every year as a result of hurricanes? How damn insensitive of a sports team to use that as a name, as if the game or their little sports team is more important than the victims of these storms. I am SO outraged right now.

The people most offended by the Seminole nickname are people that are not even Native American let alone Seminoles.
