Taylor Huff and Jordynn Dudley have been named semifinalists for the 2024 MAC Hermann Trophy, announced by the United Soccer Coaches and the Missouri Athletic Club.

The MAC Hermann Trophy is the most coveted individual honor in NCAA Division I soccer and has been awarded annually since 1967. Florida State has claimed the honor in three of the last four seasons.

Onyi Echegini earned last year’s honor after her prolific 37-point senior season, scoring 16 goals and leading the Seminoles to an undefeated season and the 2023 national championship. Jaelin Howell became the sixth player in the award’s history to claim back-to-back honors in 2020 and 2021, scoring 20 points and recording national championship appearances in both seasons, claiming the championship in 2021. Dudley is one of two players this season to make consecutive semifinalist appearances.

Huff completed her collegiate career with an incredible final season as she was named to the All-ACC First Team, ACC All-Tournament Team, and United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region First Team along with being named the ACC Tournament MVP. She led the squad with 12 goals and 10 assists for 34 total points as a midfielder. Huff has scored over 104 career points and became the fastest to reach 20 points in one season in the past decade. She also earned all-conference honors in all four seasons in collegiate play.

Dudley has continued her historic Seminole career as she was also named to the All-ACC First Team, ACC All-Tournament Team, and United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region First Team for a second straight season. The sophomore also secured a second consecutive 25-point season in just 15 games played, scoring nine goals and providing 11 assists. The reigning national Freshman of the Year also scored multiple goals for the United States to earn a bronze medal at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup through the early stretch of the collegiate season.

FSU has had at least one semifinalist for six consecutive seasons dating back to 2019.

Three women's finalists will be named for the award on Wednesday, Dec. 11. The 2024 MAC Hermann Trophy banquet will be held at the historic Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis on Jan. 3, 2025, to formally announce this year’s winners.

Fans are encouraged to vote for their favorite player. Go to MACHermannTrophy.org for the women’s semifinal ballot.
