For the positives. It forces Jimbo and staff to play a couple of these freshman important snaps. Our freshman have crazy upside and by the end of the year this will be a blessing.
Next positive. Think about the experience these freshman will have going into next year. If we have the year we all expect to have that means Noonie is going pro. Young guys this year will be grown men next year. Especially playing early against this schedule.
Negatives. Takes a player who has been in the program and gives us even less experience.
Overall, give me the young raw talent that had a huge upside instead of a guy that we pretty much know what he is.
I am disappointed for Phillips but I see a great opportunity for DJ and Terry to step up.
