Don't forget about Mike Sanford.
It's been posted on the board but they coached together at Stanford...not to mention he is recently unemployed.
Mike was a BIG name when he left Boise State to take over as ND's OC. He even turned down Urban Meyer and OSU. He did extremely well at Boise and good at ND...He obviously wasn't ready to be a HC due to his performance at WKU.
I know it would be unimpressive given some of the other names out there...I brought him up on day 1 when Bell went to UMASS and I didn't think we would get Freeze and I just heard someone else say that he is an option if HF falls through.
To be honest, due to Enos' situation at Bama and Auburn doing what Auburn does, I think we get Freeze now...
