I can remember being so anxious prior to that game and just hoping for Jameis to be half as good as was advertised.
Early in the game, the biggest surprise was that Jimbo came out in a 5 wide formation and we were at the 15 yard line. I was thinking in my head "what the hell?" I thought for sure we'd be conservative for a bit and try to at least protect Jameis for some time.
Jimbo just kept slinging the rock in that game. He seemed to have all the trust in Jameis to make all the right reads.
To make a long story short, if Jimbo even remotely uses the same mentality on Monday, my ears will be perked up and on high alert. What I'm saying is that Jimbo's early play calling could definitely indicate the trust he has in Francois.
Can't wait for Monday.
