Just watched the game again as I do every Sunday morning. We are very close to being a very good team. The biggest difference between this team and 2013 is the little things. Catching the ball, not dropping picks, making a tackle, red zone, and end of 1st half beggining of 2nd half. The plays are there to be made. Here is 5 plays that would have made this game a route:
1) Brutus not making the pick on the long td pass
2) Ramsey dropping pick in his hands
3) Whitfield not catching pass in end zone
4) golden throwing high to a open Tate in end zone
5) Walker not recovering fumble after sack/strip
6) BS targeting call on Marshall
Those plays alone represent 11 points left on the field on offense, and 14 points given up on defense. Had we made those plays, the score would have been 40-10.
