And the reason we won this game is simple:
Scottie Barnes. Offensively, he didn't even really have a great game but he still was such a presence that he created a lot of havoc in their defense. He had a turnover on a cut to MJ that I actually think was Walker's fault, because he continued to the basket unnecessarily.
On the defensive end, he hounded guys down the stretch and forced the shot clock to dwindle and was active on the boards as well.
If he has a stretch here of playing good to great, then we have a ceiling that is quite high.
My only worry for him is foul trouble. Officiating is so fickle, and there is a good chance he will be going against guys who embellish contact from a guy his size to draw the official's whistle. Hopefully he can avoid ticky tack stuff while still being disruptive.
