Would love Hunter to fall to us. I’m not feeling Cam or Sanders. I would take Dart over those two, but he’s not going 3.

If I had to guess they will probably get Sanders.

I think they can definitely pass (no pun intended) on Sanders/qb at 3 now and take one later.

I think Rogers visiting with the Steelers today nudged them to go ahead and sign Jameis.

So, yes... That's backup money for someone who's been effective as a starter as recently as last season. Are you suggesting that this will have no effect on their sense of urgency to draft a qb at 3??

I wouldn't be surprised if they took Hunter or the DE from Penn St. at #3. My non NFL GM opinion is there are no top 10 QBs in this draft.

I had even seen speculation that the Giants might try to trade up to #1 to get Ward. (Not that I think Tennessee would do it unless it was a ludicrous offer they just couldn't refuse.) Jameis gives the Giants insurance so they can wait on the QB and not reach on Sanders at 3.

As a NYG fan I want this. Forget using that high of pic on Ward or Sanders.

Good move for Jameis
No team is giving him a better shot at starting at least a few games, and being in NY could help him build on his Superbowl success as a media personality for life after football.
