Eight short years ago tonight. One of my favorite days as a Seminole. The things that still stick out:
-The incredible tailgate sponsored by the Boosters and Alumni Association on Brookside County Club right next to the Rose Bowl.
-The weather. Cool, crisp and sunny.
-Finally making it to a Rose Bowl game. The venue, while not fancy, didn't disappoint.
-I never knew they made 80oz Dos Equis cans before that day. Come to think of it, I haven't seen one since.
-That first half was long.
-Halftime was longer
-Kermit Whitfield was/is FAST
-We tend to play better when the other team doesn't know what play is being called.
-Our 13-14 team had an insane amount of talent.
-Pasadena is a fun place to celebrate.
-Things haven't been the same since the clock struck zero that night imo.
-Glad we went. The memories are priceless.
