Three things.....

1) I was highly entertained.
2) I don't think it's that great of a movie.
3) this was way more of an Avengers movie than a Cap movie to me.

The WHOLE 'war' was totally avoidable I am all for awesome fights, etc., but that needs to happen over the course of a realistic story told, which this was not IMO.

That's all.

If you’re looking for a realistic story, I’d avoid super hero / comic movies.

I agree with op. I really disliked that they wind up fighting each other. seemed so senseless. There's no avoiding it I suppose from the filmmakers'' perspective since it's supposedly part of the comic books' arch.

Then Ragnorok comes along and has way too light a mood for the darkness of that story, killing off popular side characters in a very cheeky way. I guess I'm in the minority on that one. it seems like a subtle joke when she says "you're welcome." Was she talking to the part of the fandom that maybe didn't like those characters? I don't read a lot of marvel fan sites so I'm just guessing. it does explain where Hulk was during all this time since he flew away at the end of Ultron.

The problem going in is that you knew none of them would die from the "war". That's what makes a franchise good, death to any character at any time, look at GoT.

I expect that we loose a few in Infinity War!

I don't want to watch it in the theater. Because, other people.

This is my issue about going to see A Quiet Place. I know for a fact that in a nearly empty theater, I will sit by talkers and hard-candy eaters. And with part of the movie being silent, I would probably lose it.
