Strengths: He anticipates well. I think this is one of the most important traits of a QB. It is way more important than arm strength. I also like that he is mobile. He forces a defense to respect his ability to pass and run. He is accurate throwing the ball. Salters puts the ball where his receiver can catch it.
Weakness - He has a good arm. I would not call his arm elite. He can push the ball down the field but he is better off on the intermediate and shorter routes which to me is more important. The longer routes will be there. Can he transition from playing G5 defenses to P4. He is not the biggest kid can he hold up in Gus offense which ask the QB's to do a lot of work.
Final Thoughts: I really like Salters. His ability to run is going to make it much easier for FSU to run the football. You can't just key on one player. Liberty runs a ton of plays designed for him.
