Four-star OT prospect Aaron Thomas committed to Ohio State on Wednesday. He is the son of former FSU OL Eric Thomas. The younger Thomas was offered by FSU in late April. The Seminoles had a lot of ground to make up in his recruitment and while I am sure they will continue to keep tabs on him, at least for now, he is off the market.
Coming out of his official visit with FSU, I thought that Herb Hand and Mike Norvell might have a chance to land Thomas. I spoke to one source familiar with his recruitment that indicated that they weren't sure his offers from Ohio State and TAMU were committable. Apparently, that isn't the case.
