Just curious if most of our fan-base knows how great of a return-man Leon was?
He is in the top 10 All-Time in NFL history for kickoff return yards. He ranks #1 All-Time with 8 kick return touchdowns. Of the people in the top 10, he has the second highest return average of 25.9 only behind Josh Cribbs who had a 26.1 average. Cribbs is also tied with Leon at 8 touchdowns.
For another comparison..
Leon had 292 kickoff returns, for a 25.9 average, and 8 TD's
Devin Hester had 295 kickoff returns, for a 24.9 average, and 5 TD's
Leon is one of the greatest return men in the history of football!
