Well I’ll be going to my first Foo show ever in Jacksonville on Sun. Hopefully they don’t tire themselves out at your show.
Welcome to Rockville this weekend in Jax - Foo, Ozzy, Avenged Sevenfold, Queens of the Stone Age, Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch, Stone Sour, Billy Idol, Breaking Benjamin and about 40 other bands on 3 stages
I’m there for about seven or eight bands, the rest I’m skipping. No reason to get burned alive catching some up and comers.
Haha! I get it. They started at about 8:30. They finished Everlong at 11:05. Fantastic concert ~ you're going to love it! Have fun
Did they pick some random person out of the audience to play with the band who surprisingly played flawless?
It was an amazing concert. They played for 3 hours which was so cool for the fans. I love the band but was kind of dreading it because I had a big day today and could not drink a lot. It was great even sober.
Billy Idol joined the Foo for one song and Jon Travolta went on stage (but didn’t sing) as well in Jax. I’m sure that will show up on YouTube.
We didn’t get any celebs. Now he did dedicate a song to Jason Bonham( John’s son). I am sure Dave is a fan of the fellow drummer.
Always wanted to see the Foo Fighters and decided to go last minute due to this thread. Was a great concert....they really do put on a great show. I love how Dave Grohl interacts with the crowd and seems to try to make the concert a little unique from night to night. Billy Idol and John Travolta was icing on the cake. Definitely recommend.
