Florida State will hold its 14th practice of the spring on Saturday at 4 p.m. There will be a live stream on ACC Network Extra with Sam Neidermann as the play-by-play, EJ Manuel as the analyst and Pete Thamel on the sideline. It will be a two-hour broadcast window.
Live link to watch the stream. Note that you will need to authenticate with cable, satellite, streaming service login/password to be able to watch.
The showcase will begin at 4 p.m. with a team stretch and likely some individual work. There will be a 10-minute first quarter, followed by special teams work and a 10-minute second quarter (potentially more special teams after).
The Marching Chiefs will be in the stadium but won't take the field. Sounds like this will be an abbreviated halftime.
There will be an eight-minute third quarter and an eight-minute fourth quarter, possibly with more special teams mixed in between quarters.
FSU is not keeping official stats for the showcase but the Osceola staff will be following and tracking what happens on the field during 11-on-11 portions of the showcase as well as distances of made and missed field-goal attempts and more. We'll update those in the thread below.
Coach Mike Norvell, a few players and the coordinators are expected to talk after the showcase. We'll talk with the defensive position coaches after Monday's practice, the 15th and final one of the spring for FSU.
