If I were to ever move there, does anyone know where there are some nice neighborhoods with Cypress trees? Maybe on the southside of town with easy access to the interstate. That would be great. And also where not to look and why? Any help deeply appreciated.

Avoid the Westside and Northside. Maybe look in the San Marco and Riverside neighborhoods to be close to the water.

I'm happy to help you find a place to stay...
the Southside, the beach, even north St. John's County.
You're not a serial killer, are you? :) J/K

I am not a serial killer, but thanks for asking!
However, some called me a killer with the ladies back in the day. I was literally given the name "Heartbreak," but to this day I'm not clear why..
I think a housemom and I had a misunderstanding. Now I do like the sound of a Southside Jaguar. Gentlemen, start your engines..

Ahhh. Dirty Old Men. Funny movie. (Sophia Loren proved that mature women can still have some game)

I seem to have met several of those men of late. Or, Mature Mid Life Horndogs, as I prefer to call them. They seem to congregate at FSU Events. Tailgates, Alumni gatherings, game watching parties, Warchant Party, etc. I also refer to them as a happy hunting ground. :)

So many, so little time. ;)

Cypress trees largely grow beside/in water which would make at least part of your acreage pretty low. Make sure the mansion is up a bit.

I've seen very similar trends and tendencies regarding Cougar Close Encounters of the Third Kind. They can be very unpredictable, and are known to growl without provocation and can turn instantly wild. They often attack from behind, too. One must proceed with extreme caution at all times. You never know where one may be lurking; cruising for a conquest and a fresh meal...

Glad to hear you're getting some quality ceiling viewing time, goldie.

well this has gone off the rails. ...

FWIW my first house in Jax had a cypress tree growing in the back yard. This was in the Kinsington neighborhood. Being an LR baller you probably want to move up from that starter house.

I have a couple of friends who live in "St. Augustine" and are about 5 minutes from the Shands Bridge. They pretty much live in a swamp. I don't specifically remember seeing cypress, but they have to be there...
