Lyft or Uber?

I live in Chicago and I find the Lyft cars here to be utterly disgusting. Filthy. Uber X isn’t much better. I will only use Uber Select or Uber Black in Chicago. Compared to most cities I travel to, both Uber and Lyft flat out suck in chicago
Good for a lot of Nole fans to know come November

Inside the loop, I have found it's easier to walk or hail a taxi.

No Lyft in Europe yet...is that right? Or at least not in Rome anyway...

Looking at taking my daughter to Switzerland and Italy for Christmas Break, and I was trying to forecast the cost of some Uber rides. Tried Lyft’s estimator and it didn’t seem to work.

I used Lyft the entire time I was in Chicago, including trips to and from the airports. The price appeared to be the same but the cars that I got were much cleaner than some of the Uber cars that I got in the past when I was in Chicago.

One thing I definitely won't use again in Chicago is the airport shuttles. The prices have more than doubled in the past six years and the vans are uncomfortable. Why pay over $100 round trip and sit in an uncomfortable van while you're crammed in with a bunch of people?

I'll yield to you on this but in my 6-10 trips to Chicago over the last 2-3 years I haven't found any major issue with Lyft or UberX cars.

They're basically your run of the mill Toyota Camry type cars that dominate the Lyft / Uber herd these days. No complaints from me.

Cleveland is another story, riding around in someone's family minivan, complete with Little Billy's spilled cereal is certainly an odd experience.
