Man Escapes Standoff, Goes to Walmart, Then Returns to Standoff

Can't make this up. But it wasn't Florida, which is amazing.
During the 20 hour standoff with police Michael Reynolds slipped away for a shopping trip to WalMart, then returned to the house to continue the standoff.
I just hope it was a beer run.

This says something about the law enforcement folks involved in the “standoff,” but I am not sure what. But I don’t think it’s good.
