I saw a lower end hotel on hotels.com this morning for $60-70 per night for the Miami weekend. It is called Value Place and they have two locations. It doesn't look super nice, but seems ok and for the price it might work for some people. The catch seems to be that you have to stay three nights (I assume because it is an extended stay hotel). hotels.com says there are only two rooms left at each location.
