Just watching the first few clips, Pettis is the best tackle FSU has had in a very long time. His size alone makes him difficult to get around. I love the way he comes off his first defender, blocks them and is able to get to the second level. He is very strong. You can see that his length really makes it difficult for defensive ends to get around. He has quick enough feet. He is not going to get overpowered. He dictates where a defender is going go. His technique needs some work. He has a tendency to lean or reach for defenders. This is something that Pettis needs to work on. I think going against SEC players each week and now heading to the ACC, Pettis should do very well. He is an NFL prospect. I am super high on this take. Pettis Grade (A+)
