Ting has now won the Division I Ping WCGA Player of the Year award and the ANNIKA Award Presented by Stifel.

Ting set Florida State’s school record with a career-low 68.77 stroke average in nine events this season. She finished with an incredible five individual tournament championships (at the Folds of Honor Collegiate, the Schooner Fall Classic, the Collegiate Invitational at the Guadalajara Country Club, the Briar’s Creek Invitational, and the Florida State Match Up), nine top 10 finishes, 25 of 26 rounds scored at par or better, and at an incredible 80 strokes under par.

Ting’s incredible streak of finishes included a first place finish at the Folds of Honor Collegiate, a first place finish at the Schooner Fall Classic, a first place finish at the Collegiate Invitational at the Guadalajara Country Club, a tied for sixth place finish at the Moon invitational, a first place finish at the Briar’s Creek Invitational, a first place finish at the Florida State Match Up, a tied for third place finish at the ACC Championship, a tied for second place finish at the NCAA Lexington Regional Championship, and a second place finish at the NCAA Championship Finals.

Under 2025 ACC Coach of the Year Amy Bond, the Seminoles won the ACC Championship for the first time in school history, earned the No. 1 seed in an NCAA regional for the first time in school history and finished in a school-best third place at the NCAA Championship Finals. Bond led the Seminoles to a school record seven tournament championships (the Landfall Tradition, the Collegiate Invitational at the Guadalajara Country Club, the Moon Invitational, the Briar’s Creek Invitational, the Florida State Match Up, the ACC Championship, and the NCAA Lexington Regional championship).

Ting played exceptionally well throughout the year as she earned a 770-10-6 record against NCAA Division players in her nine collegiate events.

Ting began the season ranked No. 6 in the national individual rankings as determined by Scoreboard by Clippd. She moved up to the No. 3 national ranking in February and became the nation’s No. 1 golfer on March 12, 2025, following her fourth individual title at the Briar’s Creek Invitational. She retained the nation’s penultimate national ranking through the final 10 weeks of the season.

Ting began her junior year ranked as the No. 8 women’s amateur in the world on Sept. 25, 2024. She rose to No. 6 (Nov. 6, 2025), then to No. 5 (Nov. 20, 2024), No. 4 (Dec. 18, 2024), No. 3 (Feb. 5, 2025), and ultimately to No. 2 (April 2, 2025) where she stayed for the remainder of the year.
