Two 2025 prospects committed to other schools over the weekend. LB Elijah Barnes committed to Texas and defensive end Anthony Addison committed to South Carolina.
This wasn't unexpected in either case. Barnes had stopped talking to FSU directly when I last spoke with him in late March. He told me at that time that his father was taking all his calls from FSU. Barnes was a high on the Seminoles before and after his visit, but it was always going to be hard to get him out of the Lone Star state.
Addison raved about his unofficial visit to FSU last month but early last week announced that he would be committing somewhere on Friday, somewhere was South Carolina.
