Most memorable Seinfeld episodes

Remember the little snippet when Jerry walks in the apartment and throws his belt in the trash because it touched the urinal?? I still think of that when I walk into a public restroom

The great thing about the show was that every ep had multiple, unrelated threads that by the end of the 30 minutes were ALL ACTUALLY RELATED. It was like a sitcom version of the book Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. This show was one you did not miss because everyone would be talking about it the next day.

Here are some that pop to mind:
Jerry becomes friends with the famous baseball payer, but balks at "going all the way" by helping him move after being friends for only a week or so.

Close talker

The sea was angry that day

Ball man

Kramer's vanity plate mistake: a$$man

big Stein wants a calzone!

The bit with the deaf girl mis-reading lips from across the room. "sweep with you"

Mr. Costanza understands what the Vietnamese ladies are saying about Elaine in the nail salon

Will add:
The re-gifter
Marked Book from being read in Bathroom
Not that there is anything wrong with that
Kramer refuses to wear the AIDS ribbon!

Top 2 episodes for me are the Merv Griffin and Marine Biologist episodes. No finer episodes of any TV show have ever been made than these two classics.

With all due respect to Seinfeld, the "Slow Donnie" episode of Just Shoot Me is the best single episode of a sitcom.

Don't know what episode, but the car rental can take a reservation but don't know how to keep a reservation.

Also the one where George builds a sleep cubby under his desk.

The one where Newman and Kramer have a plot to collect cans and take them to Michigan for the deposit.

The one where George borrows Elaine's Russian hat and leaves it behind at a girl's apartment so he has a reason for a second date. Not sure if that ended in the 3 sum proposition.

Cooo-STANZA!

I guess mine is George dating the inmate chick.

Too many to choose from.

“The Jerk store called and their running out of you!”

“What’s the difference you are their all time best seller!!!!”

“Yeah, well I had sex with your wife!”

“His wife is in a coma.”

Dr Nole's man hands reference made me smile. I know the show bugged some, but it also had some great episodes.

I think about some of them randomly.
I think about the nose scratcher episode any time my nose iches and I am driving around.

Same with the soup Nazi. And definitely Festivus for the rest of us.

What episodes have come up in your life?
Shrinkage
Assman
He took it out
Pizzaria owner and father of Jerry's date doesn't wash hands after using toilet
Master of your domain

The Ukraine is weak. Anytime I hear mention of Ukraine or Risk.
When George has the shelves installed under his desk where he sleeps and Mr. Steinbrenner hears the clock and thinks it's a bomb.
When George does the opposite of what he'd normally do.
CARTWRIGHT!!!
But I don't want to be a pirate. I use that anytime I see a puffy shirt.

I’m late to this but Seinfeld is a top 3 comedy of all time for me— along with Cheers and The Office.

I still watch the reruns although my local channel in Atlanta has stopped showing them at 10pm.

The show was top notch- probably best comedy during 1993- 1996.. When Susan died in 1996 the story lines weren’t the same after that (much like when Michael left The Office). The difference is Michael was the main attraction of the show while Susan was just an extra character that really many other actresses could have played that role... meaning she was not essential to the storylines. But after she died the writing went down....

My favorite episodes are:
1. The doll episode (1996) where Susan’s doll looks like George’s mother.
2. The Rye (1996)... George dating Susan caused some interesting interactions with her wealthy waspy parents including having Jerry throw a marble rye outside the window to make it look like it’s always been there.
3. The Fire (1994) Erik the clown (Jon Favreau) makes an appearance which involves George knocking everyone over to save himself in an apparent apartment fire.

"Manssierre" and "the Bro." George walks in on his dad getting a fitting from Kramer. The woman Jerry dates with "lobster hands." Cosmo joins and dominates the kid's Taekwondo class, but they get revenge.

The Pick.
That is one magic lugy.
Rusty! While Kramer rides a horse carriage for a couple.
Stealing the loaf of rye bread from the old lady.
They are real. And they are spectacular!
That's Jo Dimaggio dunking his doughnut! WELP! WELP!
Eliese describing her orgasms. Fake. Fake. and Fake.
Fluffy shirt with Bryant Gumbel.
Look away Jerry. I look hideous.
Let's sit down on the couch and have a chew.

When someone I don't know very well asks me what I do, I tell them I'm an architect for Vandalay Industries.

I know a few people who dance like Elaine.

At the top of my list are the Soup Nazi, and when George was with the Yankees entertaining the guys from the Astros.
the contest game over

Um, The Contest? Slacking people. By far the best.

Kenny Roasters, Marine Biologist and Puffy Shirt are my other favorites. Maybe even Chinese restaurant, that one pops up frequently as well.

Shocked it took to the 20th post. By far the best episode.
