Yeah, They're gonna have an even harder time losing once Rondo gets back, lol. Nice little three game win streak after losing their first four.Originally posted by Manch.:
Ya, How does Jeff Green get that shot off?
The C's aren't helping themselves in the Andrew Wiggins sweepstakes if they win a game or two here.
This was pointed out by one of the NBA guys the other day, but Lebron looked more gassed after the first quarter than many had ever seen. When the Heat came out and had Lebron trying to deny PG the ball, PG decided that he was going to channel his inner-Reggie Miller and run Lebron to death. PG wasn't able to get any points out of it, but it was pretty obvious that Lebron was incredibly tired after that quarter. This is something they will have to figure out. Lebron is a freak of nature, but it seems that PG's younger legs might be too much for Lebron. If PG can manage to do that again, no way Miami can allow Lebron to waste all his energy on the defensive end.Originally posted by kooterridesagain:
Pacers beat Heat, pretty much what was expected the other night but how it happened i did not expect. First half Heat dominated, should have been up by 20 but couldn't hit open 3's. Best Heat looked in weeks that 1st half. Lebron shut down George. Second half Pacers made Heat look like a high school team. Bricked layups, 3's, turnovers. Lebron ran himself into the ground and couldn't hit point blank shots and got little help.
Yeah. I can't disagree with any of that. West and Hibbert are going to cause a lot of issues for Miami. I don't know that relying on Greg Oden is the best idea. I think, as opposed to trading for another guard, Miami needs to find another big. They need a center with bulk that can push Hibbert away from the basket. I don't think the Heat want to rely on Bosh to draw Hibbert out of the paint as their solution to getting to the rim. They need someone who is going to wear Hibbert down. He still has conditioning issues. So if you have somebody that can make him work, he will be limited in his minutes and that could make a huge difference for Miami.Originally posted by kooterridesagain:
One problem for the Heat is the usual, they can't get a rebound or bother a big Center at the rim, unless Oden ever suits up. The new problem for the HEat is they have zero chemistry. Starting new rotations each night will do that. Even when they win Heat aren't playing great ball movement basketball, they look bored with the regular season at times. Shots are inconsistent and defense is a mess at times. At some point the Heat have got to either sit Wade for a month and let him actually play all the games this spring, or make a trade. Get rid of Anthony who expires and get a guard who can run and jump with the young guys. Lebron has expressed frustration over the delicate Wade treatment and I don't blame him, Lebron never rests, Wade is a fragile as a flower. Heat have a LOONG way to go to get to an unusual 4th straight final but right now it seems unlikely unless Oden or a trade ensues.
2010-11 was their last appearance. That was the year where Brandon Roy led that crazy 4th quarter comeback to beat Dallas in Game 4. Still one of the coolest playoff moments in recent memory.Originally posted by kooterridesagain:
Blazers continue to amaze when were hey last in playoffs?
They were terrible and I don't think I saw one positive thing about them on Facebook, Twitter, etc. Also, it was nice watching Houston go into San Antonio and beat them soundly especially after that terrible game they played in Indiana last week.Originally posted by fsu67810:
Ok did anyone actually like those uniforms yesterday? Good lord those might have been the worst things I've ever seen. Get the short sleeve jerseys outta the NBA!
