NCAA sued for wrongful death

Its always walkons...

It was a bunch of nobodies that sued and got the video game canceled.

I don't get why people always insist on blaming others for their pathetic life.

hmmm I wonder if they settle. I think they should fight this one TBH unless the plaintiff can somehow show there was clear evidence that the university officials should have known which seems impossible to me.
This is an example of why I have voiced concern about all the potential legal liabilities relating to covid19.

And BTW, the vast majority of the time they settle as that is less costly than waging a legal battle. And personal injury lawyers all know this plus they operate on a contingency basis and end up with something like 40 or 50 percent of the settlement PLUS ALL EXPENSES for a total of 60 to 80 percent of the settlement.

And personal injury lawyers have been studying Title IX plus everything to do with covid 19 as related to colleges. It is their fountain of cash that never runs out and keeps on giving!

Ed O’Bannon was hardly a nobody when it came to college basketball. He was the lead plaintiff.

I am pretty sure the next relief bill will have legal protections for businesses universities etc., but yea that is why we settled the whole Ericka case. Cheaper to settle then fight most of the time.

In this situation I would think other universities might wanna help ASU to fight this one as to avoid actions against themselves later.
