Actually, I thought LR people just buy a new car when their battery fails.

I only look at 1-2 year old cars anyway, preferably certified pre-owned. I'll let someone else take the depreciation hit on a brand new car.

Mercedes has a fantastic certified warranty. Bumper to bumper. Unlimited mileage for 5 years from date of service.

One of my cars is a Mazda 3. Fun to drive. 60K miles and not one repair yet. Mazda 6 is in the same class as the Accord.

They guarantee the battery for 5 years or longer:

36K isn’t bad considering how great their cars are.
