I will say, I'd like to see Rafael in instead of Valencia at RB. But everyone else is looking great (Rooney having a bit of a strange start with a couple Hernandez-like offsides calls).

Gerrard was a red. Moment of madness. What is real problem was how Atkinson let United from the off play one way and call every thing against Liverpool. The one that upset me was the challenge from Jones on Lallana - that was a dangerous, reckless challenge, with no real intent to win the ball. Nothing given what so ever. Fouls like that will eventually in a decade have the EPL look at concussions the way NFL is. How Jones later wasn't given a straight red and only a yellow on Henderson later is another guess. Can penalty was nothing more than shoulder to shoulder with Atkinson more than happy to award a 50 50. Fellani with persistent fouling and no yellow. Great to see how Rooney escaped anything on a sure fire yellow on Migs then another taking down Coutinho on a counter down 10 men. I guess it's legal for Di Maria for catching a ball in bounds thinking it's out of play.

Jones' foul was aggressive and looked really bad at first... but after the replay, it truly seemed to me he was trying to strike the ball clear, poorly and recklessly, but that was his intent. Stevie stomped, clearly.

No point in even talking about how Rooney escaped 2 yellows. Players get a yellow for standing in the way to a keeper let alone kicking out a leg.

The Jones/Lallana collision was not intent to injure. Jones had his head down and heading straight for the ball and would have gotten to the ball first if the ball didn't skim off of Lallana's arm. The PK was 100% a PK, Can blinsided Blind when Can was clearly beaten. Rooney maybe should have gotten a yellow after he was shoved towards the keeper, who acted like he was just picked off with a rifle. Fellaini plays a physical game and won everything in the air, players that play physical commit a lot of fouls.
Gerrard's red was typical Vidic, act like a douche when things aren't going his way. Balotelli purposely swipes at a Herrera's feet when Balotelli was the last defender, he was lucky not to see red, and then he was even luckier when he grabbed Smalling by the shirt, shoved him into the boards and then comes up with a fist showing, how he wasn't given a 2nd yellow for that is beyond me! Now if you think Rooney should have been shown a red for tapping Annie, then Skrtel should be sitting next to Steven G. in the players box for the next three games for stomping on De Gea as time expired.
I will concede that Jones should have seen a red on the Henderson foul and that Di Maria should have seen at least a yellow for his fair catch. I wouldn't have had a problem if Rooney was booked for for his trip on Cuntinho, just as I wouldn't have had a problem if Can had been booked for his trip on Blind that resulted in the PK. I also was surprised that only four minutes of added time was added, I thought that there would be 5, but Howard Webb must have called down and reminded Atkinson about Fergie time!
Liverpool played better in the 2nd half, but they did not deserve a point today. Liverpool didn't lose today because of Atkinson, they lost because they were dominated in the first half and the fact that Gerrard set an EPL record for having his clit filled with sand. Liverpool played better in the 2nd half, but they still only held possession for 42% of the game and how many times did they touch the ball in stoppage time? Three, four times? It looked like United was using the old Dean Smith four corners and just playing keep away, when they passed up a few decent chances to take a shot.
And in future United/Liverpool matches, United should be required to wear black kits while Liverpool should be required to wear pink pinnies over their tops, just like the quarterbacks do in NFL practices.

You are correct. Skirtel is veering his stride off to his left, because De Gea had possession and the defender was forcing him to his left, then his right leg reaches out to the right and lands on De Gea. De Gea had possession when Skirtel reached out and stepped on De Gea. Costa got 3 games for stomping, on Can, I believe, but believe me, if Costa had done that to Carrick and not Can, he would be out for 15 EPL games, 8 FA Cups games, 6 League Cup games and 4 Champions League games.

The more I read about 2022, the more my blood boils, not to mention the Russian mob buying 2018, and we all saw how a poor Russia hosted the Olympics. Qatar doesn't have a professional league nor do they have any stadiums. I thought that as part of their bid, that these stadiums would be built so that some type of air conditioning was in place to protect the players and the fans, some sort of irrigation where a constant cool mist was being sprayed that would lower the surface temp by about 20 degrees.

He was born is Spain, so I have no idea who he will play internationally for, but he has played in 16 of the 18 games and has done well for the Serbian team. Following these kids also helps me follow leagues like Serbia, leagues I normally wouldn't change the channel for.
