Will be the year we return to the 1st round with a top 5 and maybe even higher pick in Derwin James. Those mock drafts are straight garbage and all an educated guess, but I would be even more stunned if Derwin slipped to the 2nd than I was that Dalvin did. Absolutely no off the field issues, if not the top safety in CF he's in the top 2 or 3 for sure, and just a dog that loves to play football. Also for those that don't know Derwin is a very good student as well. On Levonte Taylor's Twitter he has a picture of a wall somewhere in one of our football facilities that has all the Academic Honor Roll players from the football team with there names and pictures. Derwin is on that wall along with Taylor so not only is he a good kid that stays away from trouble, he's also a good student and the scouts will love that. His only question mark will be wether he's over last years injury and if he can stay healthy. The G&G spring game I think answered everyone's question about his health. Who else is eligible next year? Is McFadden, Noonie, Tate, or any of the other young guys eligible? Hopefully a few guys really step up this year and make themselves some money. I think last years team was like the 2012 team and are loaded with talent that's ready to explode. I think Tate has the ability to be a very high pick if he continues to develop, and McFadden as well if he continues to play the way he did last year with all the INT's. Any other eligible guys next year that will go say 3rd round or higher? I think Derwin will be our highest pick since Jamies, and I have a feeling some of these guys are about to go 2013 style next year. Thoughts?
