Yesterday, Mike Norvell and Gus Malzahn flew across country for an in-school visit with FSU 2026 QB commit Brady Smigiel. Based on the fact it was one of, if not the first, in-school visits Norvell and Malzahn made was the coaches were allowed back out on the road indicates that Smigiel is still a part of their plans for 2026 despite the Seminoles moving towards an offensive with a major emphasis on running the ball in Malzahn's version of the spread offense and moving towards using more dual threat type QBs with the addition of Thomas Castellanos.
Smigiel took an unofficial visit to Washington in December and has continued to pick up offers from other Power 4 programs including South Carolina as recently as last week.
