No doubt but that class still finished in the top ten. Not Jimbo level, but the best we’ve had since then. More importantly, there was still talent in the program when he left. We just pissed a lot of it away. Norvell would have signed 3 juco tackles his first class if he came in in 18 and was a year removed from an orange bowl. Taggart made a down year, a down era. You can’t foresee injuries but you can foresee depth issues

Alabama does a great job honoring their own who have ascended the mountain top of the college football world.
We are still a young program with a lot to learn in many areas.
You don't have to celebrate Jimbo Fisher, you're celebrating and recognizing the standard that was met. Again....see the machine that is Alabama.
he should for sure be in...no coaches ever leave teams on good terms...he turned the program around, won us a championship, got us in the first playoff, left a decent team behind and then willie train wrecked it

Good for him. Being a head coach of a major college is very demanding. What happened to him would damn near devastate any man. I hope he’s in a better place in his personal life. Other than that I hope he loses every game at Atm. He had the keys to a Ferrari here in Tallahassee and now has the keys to a suped up 2001 Honda Civic.
He should be honored for sure for the championship he helped bring to FSU. Right now though is no where near the time nor place for that. He burned way too many bridges for him to ever step foot on Bobby Bowden field anytime soon.

His personality might change. He’s an emotional guys, nothing wrong with that as long as you can control it.
The admin has made many mistakes along the way but that doesn't excuse jimbo from quitting on us while receiving a paycheck. Inexcusable on every level on any job and says all you need to know about his character or lack there of.
F Jimbo forever. He will never be welcomed back. How could anyone want him.back? We have struggled solely because of his actions (or inaction). He would still be our coach if he wasn't such a jerk. He set us back a good 5 years while he was still collecting a paycheck from FSU.
Dont necessarily disagree but who's job was it to provide oversight for Jimbo? Prime example Barron craps on us and we keep Coburn his chief of staff on the payroll. What job does he have now? Wilcox just sat there for how many years and took up space and collected a paycheck. Cant blame JF for being an opportunist.
He’s a man isn’t he? A man does what he has to and that’s not to collect a check and job hunt in secrecy.
Again, two separate issues. I was raised to take pride in my work regardless of the circumstances. So yes, I do blame him for being an "opportunist" at the expense of those many of us who were paying his salary.

Blaze, you are one of the few who is not biased in regard to JF. He did a good job, yes the last part of his tenure was ugly. Only the envious would continue to ridicule this man.
