According to Rivals Ole Miss website, Yahoo writer Pat Forde composed an article asserting that NCAA granted immunity to players at Auburn, MsState and other schools, questioning them about OM recruiting practices, and the investigation will continue into 2017.
The OM Rivals website podcasters speculate NCAA questioned Auburn OL Austin Golson, a one-time FSU verbal commitment who flipped to OM, eventually transferred to AU. Also, OM podcasters contend NCAA has a vendetta against OM (“its personal!”) … their hope is that possible damaging statements by former OM recruits cannot be substantiated by documentary evidence or paper trail, in the same way that some of Tunsil’s stepfather’s claims lacked hard evidence.
