· April 2016 -- Former Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil is being sued by stepfather Lindsey Miller days before Tunsil is expected to be chosen early in the first round of the NFL draft. A lawsuit filed late Tuesday afternoon at the Lafayette County Courthouse by Starkville attorney Matthew Wilson of behalf of Miller alleges that Tunsil attacked Miller last June and that Tunsil defamed Miller’s character. The lawsuit alleges these two things were an “intentional infliction of emotional distress.”

· 2015 Suspension -- This past football season, Mississippi offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil – one of the highest-rated recruits in program history – sat out seven games for accepting impermissible benefits. Tunsil, according to an Ole Miss release, was found to have accepted “use of three separate loaner vehicles over a sixth-month period without payment, a four-month interest-free promissory note on a $3,000 down payment for purchasing a used vehicle, two nights of lodging at a local home, an airline ticket purchased by a friend of a teammate, and one day use of a rental vehicle. In addition, it was determined that Tunsil was not completely forthcoming when initially questioned by NCAA investigators regarding the loaner vehicles.”

Denzel Nkemdiche

· December 23, 2015 -- Denzel Nkemdiche was again hospitalized on Dec. 23, this time after being found "non-responsive" in a house in the Jackson, Miss., suburb of Ridgeland. It's believed by team sources that Denzel was living with or visiting Sunday Nkemdiche during this time, but the family did not respond to attempts to confirm that information.

· December 20, 2015 -- On Dec. 20, Sunday and Denzel accompanied Robert to a bar in Clarksdale, Miss., to watch him play saxophone. That night Robert confirmed to Scout.com that he was suspended for Ole Miss' bowl game and that his college career was over.

· November 2015 -- Denzel was hospitalized after being discovered as "non-responsive" Nov. 16, following Ole Miss' bye week. He was hospitalized in Oxford the following week. Ole Miss first announced his absence as a "personal matter" and stated that he would miss the following week's home game against LSU. Before his hospitalization Denzel Nkemdiche was the team's leading tackler. He would not play college football again. Multiple sources have confirmed that Denzel had experimented with "a large variety of drugs" the night preceding his first hospitalization.

· Denzel became a fixture in Oxford nightlife and a constant problem for the athletic department. Soon the eldest Nkemdiche brother Bryan arrived in Oxford, and local law enforcement became aware of the Nkemdiches -- as a group -- through frequent run-ins. Bryan never enrolled at Ole Miss nor had any kind of professional tie to the area. Stories ran wild, and not just through campus, but through cops and lawyers, too. Denzel was the subject of multiple interventions and "in-house" discipline by the football staff. Boosters who were once charmed by Denzel at events and after games began to fret that he'd influence his younger, more talented brother. According to law enforcement sources, Denzel was ubiquitous in the party scene before, during and after his little brother's recruitment and arrival, but on the occasions that bookworm Robert Nkemdiche was spotted at a party or bar, one of his outgoing brothers was close by.

· March 2014 -- A month later, Denzel -- already suspended for Spring practice -- was videotaped in a verbal tirade on a beach in Florida, screaming obscenities to Mississippi State fans.

· February 2014 -- That same month Denzel and Robert were sued by an Ole Miss student for their alleged participation in an assault at a campus party in 2013. Both Nkemdiche brothers were sued regarding their participation in an alleged fight at an Ole Miss fraternity party that took place in Feb. 2013. Matthew Baird sued the brothers Nkemdiche for $2 million, claiming he was punched in the back of the head by Robert, who was a high school senior and Ole Miss commit at the time, and then kicked on the ground by Denzel and a handful of his Ole Miss teammates.

· Denzel Nkemdiche was arrested in February 2014 on a disturbing the peace charge after his 21st birthday.

Chad Kelly

· December 21, 2014 — Chad Kelly arrested on numerous misdemeanor charges in Buffalo, N.Y.: Just four days after signing with Ole Miss out of JUCO national champion East Mississippi Community College, Kelly was arrested following a fight outside a nightclub in Buffalo. Kelly, nephew of NFL Hall of Famer Jim Kelly, was charged with a handful of misdemeanors, including third-degree assault, second-degree harassment, second-degree menacing, resisting arrest, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. He pled guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to perform 50 hours community service in addition to undergoing a drug and alcohol assessment and completing a treatment program. He has since arrived at Ole Miss as a January enrollee, and he will be able to complete his community service in Oxford.

Chris Kiffin (Assistant Coach, Recruiting Coordinator)

· 2006 -- INDIAN SHORES - The son of Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense coordinator Monte Kiffin was arrested Tuesday on charges he broke into two vans to steal money and compact discs earlier in the week, Indian Shores police said. Christopher Kiffin, 24, of 16200 Gulf Blvd., Redington Beach, was charged with two counts of burglary to a vehicle. He was released from the Pinellas County Jail on $10,000 bail within hours of his arrest. According to arrest affidavits, Kiffin admitted to breaking into two vans along Gulf Boulevard in Redington Shores at roughly 4 a.m. Sunday. His plan was to take money and compact discs, but it was unclear from the affidavits whether he did so. Indian Shores Police Investigator Jason Routzahn declined to comment. The affidavits say Kiffin was under the influence of alcohol and drugs at the time of the alleged crime.

David Saunders (Former Assistant Coach, Former Recruiting Coordinator)

· January 2016 -- Louisiana-Lafayette football program's self-imposed sanctions stemming from an investigation into an ex-assistant coach's effort to arrange fraudulent college entrance exam scores for recruits. Former linebackers coach David Saunders, the ex-assistant coach who arranged the fraudulent scores, but who denied wrongdoing and declined to cooperate with investigators, has been placed under an eight-year show-cause order. That means he can't accept a job with an NCAA-member program without appearing, along with officials from the school attempting to hire him, before the NCAA's infractions committee. The NCAA also found that Saunders funneled more about $6,500 in cash to a student-athlete, first while he was a recruit attending a junior college and after he'd enrolled at ULL. The university had previously disputed that allegation, but the NCAA stated in its report that the student-athlete told its investigators he'd been given the cash by Saunders.

· Saunders did three stints at Ole Miss:

o 1998-2002 Ole Miss (RC)

o 2006 Ole Miss (LB)

o 2010 Ole Miss (ath. dept.)

Jan. 28, 2014 — Bobby Hill arrested for sexual battery: While many of the Ole Miss arrests were for charges few would consider severe, Hill is a major exception. He was arrested last January for sexual battery, which is a felony charge, and was immediately suspended from the team. The 2013 cornerback signee appeared in 10 games as a freshman but was dismissed from the team prior to the start of the 2014 season. Because he faced a felony charge, Hill was forced to appear before a grand jury while his case was heard.

“Ole Miss OL Rod Taylor arrested for shoplifting ... but it might have been an accident” – Crab Legs?

Taylor placed but failed to pay for two bags of charcoal in a basket underneath his shopping cart while going through a self-checkout line, a source said. The source added his understanding of the case was that Taylor did so by accident and would have to go to court and pay the amount, approximately $40, before the charges would be thrown out.
