Willie Taggart is a great recruiter, but he struggled tactically last season. He was awful when it came to making offensive adjustments. Especially in conference play. Taggart just didn't adjust well on offense. In nine conference games last season the Ducks offense averaged only 12.2 second-half points per game. They were shut out four times in the second half in those nine games.
