Perspective on Ukraine. China etc

Wars are always about economics, and always have been. Ukraine is the bread basket of the world. Ukraine has ports. Russia has a failing economy.

This was another "WMD" type premise to imitate military action against another country.... in the guise of a "humanitarian war"... a entire conflict based on flawed, faulty, inaccurate, information... but the truth doesn't really matter.
As Thucydides said, "In war, truth is the first casualty"

Again, . cui bono? Who sells weapons to NATO? cool.

Many government actions outside of military are based on "flawed, faulty, inaccurate, information".

And as Geddy said "people in general don't know what's really going on. Even those in the know only have parts of the story. When I was a kid my dad always said if people knew a portion of what governments were really up to they would be beyond scared."

One could include our Covid Policies, inflation bubbles, climate change/"green energy", social policies .....

My dad told me before he died. Sometimes they don't take your team in, they take you individually, so you never know anyone else who might have been privy to what you were. That's the way eyes only works, I believe.

I think this one along with many others has many causes with economics being a major player. Natural resource's, European energy policy (Nord Stream) and NATO involvement in Ukraine and Georgia.

So you think the CIA will work with the Ukrainian military to overthrow/kill him?

That isn’t even on my Ukraine Conflict bingo card.
Yeah that doesn't make sense. That would play right into Putin's hand since that's probably the intention anyway. Not seeing the benefit unless it was to blame the Russians for it like the Nord Stream pipeline. Russia is already to the point where they likely wont recover from this both militarily and economically.

Putin doesn’t know Sun Tzu:
Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win

seminole 97,
No, not at all.
The comparison was based on the corruption of the regimes and their requests for U.S. aid. (In the case of Ukraine, both the U.S. and NATO)

Without that aid, the ability of the Ukraine to wage this war is not sustainable. Diem's regime would've collapsed if he had not been assassinated.

Yep. And we’ve known this since WW2. Go back and read Eisenhower’s farewell speech in 1960 referring to “Military Industrial Complex.”
We have to have war... we need "bad men". Best stimulus package out there... unfortunately, it only enriches the few...

That boogeyman doesn't only exist in war. Just read any news channel.
Yep. There's a whole team of boogeymen... this one, in particular, is especially lucrative; the gift that keeps on giving.
