I have always like Phil Steele and he has always been a fan of FSU.
He has an article on his site about strength of schedule for 2015. As FSU fans have seen before people will scream how easy their schedule is and talk about SEC or BIG 10.
FSU has the 40th ranked schedule with opponents from 2014 having a 85-67 record. Washington is #1 playing teams with a 101-56 record. Difference being 16-11. So from team with hardest schedule to FSU is an average of 1.1 wins per team faced and 1 loss per team. Not that big of deal when broken down.
The two teams at 41 and 42? UF and Ohio State...SEC and BIG 10!
Another interesting stat he has is ranked opponents from 2014. 40 teams beat only 1 team that was ranked. 38 of those are not in a Power Five League and the other 2 are Duke and, guess who...Ohio State!
Interesting reading and when people start their crap about schedules, the facts about Ohio State, who will be #1 early on, is interesting.
